Baker

We are looking for an experienced baker to build up our baking program.

A little about us: The Coffee Corner opened in january 2025. We are a small, family-owned business located in the heart of Baltimore and have slowly been growing and expanding over the past few years. With our drinks, we take pride in creating quality beverages, with minimal additives using house-made syrups and flavors only- this also translates to our expectations for our baking program.

Our baking menu currently consists mainly of items like house-made scones, muffins and Bundts. Our prep-kitchen could essentially be considered a micro-kitchen so we are limited in general space capacity when it comes to proving etc. Beyond our few staple menu items, we welcome our baker to be creative in organizing a consistent but changing menu depending on the season. Being detail oriented with regards to consistency as well as time efficient is a must.

Job requirements:

Experience working in a professional kitchen
Can relialby come into work in the early hours
Can self-orgnaize
Can review and assess inventory and communicate needs with owners
Food manager certificate
Can lift up to 50 lbs
